
Christos Mentesidis
I have an Integrated Master’s Degree in Rural and Surveying Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
My occupation with GIS, Databases and Specialized Cartographic Software started during the elaboration of my diploma thesis and my military service in the Geographical Service of the Greek Army and more specifically in the Department of Digital Database Collection.
I have worked at the South Field Coal Mine of the Public Power Corporation in the Lignite Center of Western Macedonia where I gained experience in UAV Captures and Monitoring.
I joined Consortis team in September 2019 having been involved in various projects such as photogrammetric applications, 3D model processing by laser scanner and UAV, earthmoving measurements, etc. At the same time, I have participated in a variety of field tasks such as ground and aerial surveys, soundings, laser scanner and site surveillance.
I have participated in national and international cartography conferences as a delegate and as a speaker.
