Eftychia Koukourikou

I am a Planning and Development Engineer and hold a Master's Degree in Environmental Architecture and Urban Design.

I graduated from the American Anatolia College in Thessaloniki and studied at the Faculty of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During my studies I participated in interdepartmental programs with universities in Europe. I was awarded with the Excellence Award of the State Scholarship Foundation, for my performance, in 2019.

In 2017 I started my professional career as an engineer, and since then I have been active in spatial and urban planning studies, while I have participated as a project team member in studies, projects and architectural competitions of urban and urban planning. An important tool in my research work is my familiarity with design programs and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software, for the digitization and analysis of data, as well as the visualization of design guidelines. My professional and research experience is outlined through the field of urban planning and urban design and spatial issues, as they evolve through contemporary theories, policies and practices. The multifunctional nature of the field, combined with my specialization in environmental design and sustainability, provide me with the necessary skills to deal with different scales of space and different aspects and approaches to the urban phenomenon, aiming at a holistic view of design.
In February 2022, I joined Consortis team. My vision is to produce quality and innovative work, in a context of continuous development.
