Michalis Bogdanos

I am a graduate of the Department of Planning and Development Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where I received my diploma in 2018. In 2020, after completing my military service, I decided to continue my studies at the same department. in order to obtain a Master's degree with emphasis on Spatial Planning and Sustainable Resilient Development.

In 2017, I did my internship in a technical company in Thessaloniki, where I continued to work for another 3 years. My responsibilities were mainly related to my scientific field, such as urban planning and spatial planning studies, but also in different fields, such as altimetric studies, building studies and the settlement of arbitrary constructions. At the same time, I have gained extensive experience in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software, such as ArcGIS and QGIS, as well as, other design programs, such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.

In 2019, I was an external collaborator of the CONSORTIS study team, as a member of the scientific team of the Department of Spatial Planning and Development Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, which received the 2nd prize in the framework of the open spatial idea’s competition "Study of Strategic Spatial Development of the Lake Trichonida Area".

I constantly try to update and expand my knowledge in my field, through conferences, seminars, training programs and personal research, so that I can cope with the challenges that arise daily in my professional career as an engineer.
