Interoperability of Information Systems and Spatially Activated Mechanisms for Finding / Available Data in the Municipality of Pavlos Melas for Section 1 entitled: "Creation of database and development of building information application "

The object of this project is:

• The digitization of the analog file of the executive and the topographic diagram of the building permits, maintaining the information quality of the file and preventing its further deterioration from extensive use.
• The spatial recording, through geocoding, of the above file with information concerning each building permit.
• The creation of a Geographic Information System (GIS) which will consist of a spatially activated database with specific technical characteristics, through which the user roles will be supported and the application for archiving, displaying, and searching the building permits of the Building Service Municipality.
• The development of an electronic management environment in order to duplicate applications.

This system will make a significant contribution:

• In the complete preservation of the file and in its easy management, based on the digital system.
• Improving the services provided to the citizens.
• Reducing the processing time of requests for the copy duplication of building permits to any interested party who submits the request for the required documents, achieving speed in serving the citizens and professionals who request the assistance of this Service.
• Improving the image of the Municipality to citizens and professionals through the provision of a reliable and efficient service channel for their requests.
• Promoting local e-government and increasing the transparency of administrative procedures
