Ahi Mantouza
I studied environmental engineering at Democritus University of Thrace and have a master’s degree in “Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development” and a second master’s degree in “Water Resources and Environmental Management”.
My background has grown to include a variety of studies, such as Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies, Strategic EIA studies and feasibility studies regarding the sitting of solid waste sanitary landfills.
My interest in resolving environmental issues lead to my engagement in research, development and innovation projects where my experience ranges from the development of a project’s partnership and proposal, to the actual implementation as well as the management & coordination of the project. Due to my New Zealand origins, I have excellent English oral and written communication skills and proven ability to interact with a diverse and cross-cultural range of clients and stakeholders. Engaging in collaborative research and innovation with partners from other countries is an everyday occurrence.
Currently, I am participating in the implementation of the PEARLS project (a Horizon 2020 MSCA RISE project) as one of Consortis’ team members. Consortis is one of the 13 partners that compose the project’s partnership.
