  1. Pasco Corporation  

PASCO Corporation is a Japanese company specializing in geospatial information services, particularly in the field of Earth Observation (EO). It is involved in distributing data and imagery from Japan's Advanced Land Observing Satellites (ALOS), including ALOS-2. These satellites, operated by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), are designed for a wide range of applications such as disaster monitoring, mapping, and environmental observation.

These satellites are equipped with sensors that capture data in different wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, ranging from visible light to radio waves.

ALOS-2 (Advanced Land Observing Satellite-2).

It is equipped with the PALSAR-2 sensor, which provides high-resolution radar imagery, and a visible and near-infrared sensor (PRISM-2), which is a panchromatic camera that provides high-resolution stereo imagery and captures two images of the same area from slightly different angles.

It allows high-resolution surface monitoring day and night, regardless of weather conditions. Its L-band radar can penetrate clouds and vegetation, making it ideal for tasks like monitoring deforestation, land subsidence, urban planning, and natural disasters. PASCO offers an InSAR (Interferometric SAR) package, which is particularly useful for tracking changes in ground surfaces, such as those caused by earthquakes or infrastructure projects.

The PRISM-2 sensor is capable of observing the Earth's surface in three spectral bands: blue, green, and red, and has a spatial resolution of 2.5 meters and a swath width of 70 km.
