Improvement of rural road of Goumenissa – Evropos of Municipality of Peonia

Within the framework of the project titled “Improvement of rural road of Goumenissa – Evropos of Municipality of Peonia” the topographical study of the area was carried out, in order to create the
topographical background of the area for plumbing and road construction studies

As the area of study was defined the existing rural road, which connects the settlement of Evropos with the settlement of Goumenissa., a survey was made for a zone of about 0,57 km2, about 8.8 km in length, while the width of the imprinting zone is variable, with a minimum width of 20-30 m. on either side of the axis of the existing rural road. For the purposes of the study, both ground-based mappings and aerial mappings and specifically with an appropriate Drone System were made.
