Development of a Network for highlighting the lake Volvi’s areas in the wider area of Madytos Thessaloniki - Central Macedonia Greece

The integrated interventions of the local authorities and the municipality for the upgrading and touristic interconnection of the lake sites, leaded to the proposal of a wider network of natural and cultural heritage routes, which will mark the "lake area" and its importance as a "leisure destination" for the area of Thessaloniki. In the proposed network the core would be the information center. Apart from that the network would work by knots and lines. Selected focal points or paths are suggested and a number of wooden observatories (small and big) are also introduced.
