SEA2SEA

Developing a multimodal freight corridor to connect the Aegean to the Black Sea

The SEA2SEA project consortium was formed by 3 partners, namely the Kavala Port Authority, the Alexandroupolis Port Authority, the Bulgarian Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications

The overall project concerned the development of a multimodal freight corridor to connect the ports of North-East Aegean to the ports of the Black Sea and the Danube, thus offering an alternative route towards the straits of Bosporus, where a traffic congestion has been observed.

Consortis was involved in the analysis of the current situation and long term forecasts, the planning of the Sea2sea corridor, the determination of the basic components for the complete implementation of the Sea2sea corridor, the public awareness campaign.
